On some occasions it may be hard for the bride and groom to word their invitations due to difficulties in their current circumstances. The following are some ideas of how to word your invitations in some of these instances. 

1. For a traditional marraige where the brides parents are doing the inviting: 
Mr & Mrs John Smith

Request the pleasure of your company at the marriage of their daughter
______ to _______

time & location
followed by the reception at
______
RSVP

2. If a parent is deceased:
Sally Jones
daughter of Jean Jones and
the late James Jones &
John Walker
son of Mr & Mrs Robert Walker
request the honour of your presence at their marriage.
date
time & location
RSVP etc

3. If the bride or groom have children:
Stephanie Jones & Michael Smith
along with Alison & Mary Jones
invite you to witness our beautiful beginning
date
time & location

RSVP etc

4. If one set of parents is seperated:
Mr & Mrs John & Gail Thomas along with
Mr Luke Smith & Ms Bev Jones
invite
_____________& _________
to celebrate the love shared by
Jodie & Wayne
date
time & location
RSVP etc
